"A History of Women in Sport Prior to Title IX." The Sport Journal. 12 Oct. 2016. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
For this website I used it as one of my backups for my project and this is because I wanted to research more on the topic of the Title IX since it was going to be in my timeline. I thought this website was really reliable as well since it was published by the Sports Journal which covers a lot of the major sports that have happened today and in the past.
"All-American Girls Professional Baseball League." League History. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
Used this website a lot because it gave me a lot of information about past baseball leagues and softball leagues and how professional baseball for women started. It is a reliable source since it is from the original league that started women’s baseball and softball.

"History." Team USA. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
From this website I know that the people who created it know about the information they are talking about since this is the league of baseball that the first women to ever play baseball sponsored. I also know that this is the actual major league page that has been used for many years but only gets updated for more useful information about baseball and softball in the past. This league is one of the many that is mentioned in my project since it is the All American Girl Professional Baseball League.
"History of Fastpitch | Steele Creek Athletic Association." History of Fastpitch | Steele Creek Athletic Association. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
The researchers and the people who have created this site are trustworthy since it is another association of softball that has been around for a while which can help tell the story of softball as it is now and back then. This association is one of the many that have been big supporters for softball today and this helps backup my project with more information on the sport of fastpitch today.
"History of Softball | ISport.com." History of Softball | ISport.com. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
Even though this website is not one of the major league websites I used this website because I knew it could be trusted since it helped back up my other sources with information about important games and women players. This website also showed me some new interesting facts like amateur baseball some people called it and a lot more information that I had used for my project.
"History of Women in." Timeline of Women in Sports. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
This website is also a backup website for my top websites I used and this is because I was making my own timeline and was searching for different timelines to compare to each other. After comparing many I found that this one was one of the many that supported the facts and information received from this website.
"Impact of AAGPBL." Inspirational Influences in Baseball History. Web. 18 Jan. 2017.

"Men Play Baseball, Women Play Softball." NPR. NPR. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
This website was one of the bigger websites I based some of my research off of and that is because this website compared the differences and similarities of men and women’s baseball. This website showed how many men did not like the fact that women were able to play the same sports as they did which caused a lot of problems for women.
"On the Shoulders of Generations: From Seneca to Clinton, 16 Famous Firsts for Women in America." Of Politics and Men. 11 June 2016. Web. 18 Jan. 2017.

"Significant Events for Women in Sports Timeline." Timetoast. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
This one is also one of my biggest sources I had used for information because I really looked at the timeline that showed the different events in sports history for women and how it affected other sports. I really needed to use this source because it would help support my thesis because my thesis is about if softball helped women rights in other sports throughout the years which I found to be true in some cause involving other sports as well.
"The History Of Softball. Who Invented Softball?" The History Of Softball. Who Invented Softball? Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
This source was one of my biggest sources I used because it is in fact the Team USA sports page and if you don’t know who TeamUsa is they are the national team for our country's sports. So I thought this source could be trusted with the background information that it provided and the history of softball and the baseball league as well.
"The Rules And History Of Softball." The Rules And History Of Softball. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
I used this website to go over more information about the past few years of softball today and from the past. This source is credible since it is from a college sports website that takes their sports seriously and their background history of each of the sports.
"Timeline of Women's Sports." Wikipedia. Wikimedia Foundation. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
Even though I know this is a wikipedia page I used it just for backup on some parts of my timeline to make sure that some parts happened at the right time of history. This source wasn’t my most reliable but it still helped support details about the history behind women sports.
"The Woman Who (Maybe) Struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig." Smithsonian.com. Smithsonian Institution. Web. 17 Jan. 2017.
This website is the biggest one that I used to base my project around and this is because without this woman who struck out Babe Ruth and other Professional Baseball players there wouldn’t have been another great stand in history. This is a reliable source since it is from the researchers of the Smithsonian which is where all the history and past relics are kept from our histories past.
"Universal Declaration of Human Rights." United Nations. United Nations. Web. 18 Jan. 2017.
This website also helped me a lot because it is our nation’s Preamble for our way of life. Without this famous document we wouldn’t be living in the same world we are today without this Articles of Law. Some of these articles are what has formed our country and the people in it, for example in Article two it shows that all men and women are created equal which goes towards my topic for this project. I know this is reliable since this information is what the Preamble says directly from the actual paper that was written back in 1787.
